▣ Wastewater roof vents are common in commercial and industrial buildings — and often go unnoticed until they become a serious odor problem. Many of these buildings feature parapet walls designed to conceal rooftop equipment such as HVAC units. While effective aesthetically, this design can trap odors escaping from wastewater vents, allowing sewer gases to be drawn directly into the building’s HVAC system and circulated throughout the interior.

▣ The JOS Roof Vent Attachment is designed to eliminate sewer odors before they ever enter your building. Each attachment houses a Carbon Pillow filled with high-capacity activated carbon, securely enclosed in a breathable material. As sewer gases pass through the carbon media, hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S) molecules adhere to the carbon surface and are absorbed through adsorption — permanently neutralizing odors at the source rather than masking them.
